I want to thank you for being my teacher. I'll never forget the project where we got to break down the Blind Melon song "No Rain." For me, that project opened up a whole new appreciation for the poetic side of music. You rock!

I want to thank you for being my teacher. What I liked most about the way that you taught was that most of it made sense and you helped me clear up the stuff that didn't make sense. You helped me build a solid foundation to continue my studies in sciences through college. I will also never forget how you drew the most perfect circles on the chalkboard! LEGENDARY!

You were my 7/8th grade English teacher at Barry. You were also my Spanish choir/music teacher who taught me to sign the alphabet and to sing a variety of children's songs in Spanish, I still sing to my own children this day. Thank you for picking me up and dropping me off at my home to attend the Festival de la Gente in Sacramento and perform. I read all the greeting/holiday cards you had posted on the left side of your classroom. I loved reading them all. I also loved all the dichos. Because

My twin girls started 1st grade this fall during the pandemic and wildfires. To say I was a bit nervous is an understatement. However, when we learned that Mrs. de Bellis was our girls’ teacher, we were told by their kindergarten teacher that she is fantastic and teaches from the heart. And didn’t that turn out to be the truth! Mrs. de Bellis is one of our families’ biggest blessings this year! How she cares and loves each of her students while teaching them to read, write and do math is amazing

However, once she saw a picture of Mrs. Ferch and learned more about her “favorite things,” our daughter became more excited about starting Kindergarten. Mrs. Ferch has become a rock-star in our home and has created a bridge with virtual learning that is able to make the kids feel connected to each other and
