Dear Debra Miller,
Hey, what's up! I'm Sofia Nava. Last year, I had you, and I really appreciate all your love as a teacher. You were there when I was struggling with family issues; you were my mom when the one I had barely made an effort to be a mother. I remember how fun your class was. At times, I remember getting in trouble with Christopher Islas, but you did your best for us to try to talk it out. Being in your class was a warm place when I could stay all day. People laughed at me, but you helped. I had issues with mental health, and you were there for me. Thank you for everything; you inspire me to be kind to people every day, no matter what. I love you, Ms. Miller
