Dear Ms. Ennis, I want to thank you for everything. You were my 8th-grade teacher and really just one of the best teachers I've ever had. When I think of a teacher I cherish, you're the first to come to mind. At the time, I was struggling with my mental health and took frequent visits to the counselor's office. But, whenever I was around you, I never once felt judged. Despite my struggle, you took time to see the real me and my potential as a student. You embraced me with open arms, and you never failed to make me feel safe and welcome in your classroom. You were always there for me, and it means the world to me.
