The core mission of Teacher Stories is to share stories about the extraordinary impact teachers have on our lives and communities. 

You can make a difference in the life of a teacher by sharing an Appreciation about one (or more!) that you admire. It's easy and we'll even offer to help you write your message as you proceed through the form below. 

After submitting your Appreciation, here's what will happen next:

• We will send you a confirming email, review your submission, and make minor edits, if needed (only works if you provide an email address that your school does not block).
• We will post your message on the Teacher Stories' Appreciations webpage for the world to see and will send you a link to your Appreciation when it has been approved and posted. 
• We will notify the teacher about your Appreciation if you provided his or her email address.
• We won't share your email address with anyone else.

Our searchable database consists of nearly 100,000 public K-12 schools in the United States. If the teacher you want to appreciate teaches (or taught) at a private school, a college or university, a school outside of the U.S., or if you can’t find the public school you are looking for can add the school here. By using the same school names it will be easier to view all of the appreciations that have been submitted for teachers at individual schools.
