Mr. Dussaq, you were the teacher I needed. You truly care about your students, and I felt that when I didn't have a dad anymore. You filled that with open arms. You were my 1st grade teacher right when he passed. You taught me how to breathe and get through my feelings. You were there for me in a way no one else could've. Yes, you left to teach 6th grade halfway through that year, but you helped me, and that helped me grow and be able to do it on my own. Then I got you for my 5th grade year, and I was ecstatic. Everything you taught me and the connection you made with me and all your students stayed with me all those years. I still remember that bond, and it's incredible. I truly believe you were one of the best teachers I've ever had, and I am truly thankful for you for just simply caring about me. And I thank you for everything you taught me.
