Dear Mrs. Cohen, Happy teacher appreciation week! I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you what you’ve done for me as a person in these past couple of years. You know, for the longest time, I didn’t know what D05 was for. I hadn’t realized what the student support center was actually for until I went there with Glyanne. However, when I did get there, I was impressed by you. As a sophomore, I had no clue that such a nice and genuine, and helpful person was our social worker, and I was surprised at how you handled the situation. With that first scenario and much more, I saw how you always gracefully handled situations and talked with the students, and it always impressed me. I started recommending the student support center to other students who needed that kind of help because I knew they would be in good hands. I wanna grow up to be like you, and whether it be a counseling psychologist or a social worker, I want my profession to involve allowing others to talk to me about their problems so I can offer insight and help relieve some mental strain.
