Linh Chung appreciates Ms. Paula Daccarett, a teacher at INDEPENDENCE HIGH SCHOOL in San Jose, CA

Hi Ms. Daccarett! I'm writing this small letter to you as I wanted to tell you how grateful I am as this week is teachers' appreciation week. I wanted to let you know how much I’ve appreciated your effort and the work you’ve done for us this year. This year has definitely not been easy for anyone and I have struggled so much to stay motivated and positive. When you try to cheer us up and tell us how you understand that everything is so hard to get through I feel so thankful because it felt assured that you knew that. You would always remind us if we needed help we can always reach you or the counselors when people would put sad faces during the peardecks. You would have just a very positive vibe and wouldn’t force anything upon us and I am just so grateful. I know it is just as hard for you as well having to teach behind the screen is not easy. I feel especially apologetic when I am having a hard time behind the screen myself but knowing that you understand and seeing all this effort you put into our class and work that makes me feel a little better and more motivated. The year is almost ending and I wanted to thank you for making my last year of high school better even through distance learning!
