Lana Duenas appreciates Mr. John Ball, a teacher at OASIS CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL in Cape Coral, FL

I wanted to thank Mr. Ball for being a good teacher and always trying to help his students. Mr. Ball has a personality like no other; he is so funny and serious at the same time. He never fails to bring a laugh or smile to me or my friends' faces. When my mom was going through cancer, Mr. Ball was able to get his students to write get-well cards for her to help her feel better while she was in the hospital for Thanksgiving. I will never forget Mr. Ball for that because no teacher has ever done that for me, let alone cared. Mr. Ball is such a good person with such a good heart, and he deserves more credit.
