Hey Ms. Liang, I just wanted to write to you this letter to express how grateful I am for you and how lucky I am for being able to have you as my counselor throughout the recent years you came onto campus. I know we have only contacted each other mostly through email and only once officially talked to each other through Zoom, but I wanted to let you know that you have helped me a lot through my college decision and my college outline. Every email you sent back to me was always thorough and so genuine, and it just meant so much to me. I appreciate how much effort you put into helping students and how easy you are to talk to. Even if we had a small meeting regarding college, I felt so comfortable and happy talking to you because you made me feel so valid and reassured about my choices. Throughout my first few years of high school, I didn’t have a steady counselor, and being able to have such an amazing counselor, especially during such an important year, made me feel a lot better and more confident with myself. I can’t even express how thankful I am to have you guiding me academically. Thank you for everything you have done for me during the time period that I have you as my counselor. Again, even if we had very limited contact with each other, I just wanted to tell you that you have made a huge difference in my life in such a small amount of time.
