Dear Mr. Cartoni, I just wanted to write to you this letter to tell you how much I appreciate you as my English teacher for my last year of high school. The only time I genuinely had a chance to speak with you was during the time we had a book talk last semester, but I remember how great it was being able to speak with you. You were the main reason why I got back into reading, and honestly, I can’t even thank you enough. I remember the first time you assigned the assignment and I was so iffy about it because I stopped reading ever since I entered high school. This assignment was the main reason that helped me get out of my very long reading slump. You are the only person that I can give this credit to. You are such a caring teacher and that means a lot especially through distance learning. You always do things to accommodate us and every single thing you do for us does not go unseen to me, I promise you that. You go out of your way to navigate through Google Classroom just so we can have an easier time turning things in and having access to assignments and I can’t even express how appreciative I am to have such a genuine teacher. The whole class should be appreciative of what you do for us because everything you do is to cater to us, students. Thank you for being such an amazing teacher and always incorporating humor from time to time. I am very grateful to have you as my teacher this last year of high school, and I am so grateful that you helped me reignite my drive to read. Thank you again for everything you have done for us!
