Dear Senor Zavala, You gave me the most memorable freshman year. It was difficult for me to walk in on the first day of school as a freshman before I was settled into your class. Even though we were all anxious, I recall you trying to lighten the mood and strike up a conversation with us. You had a fun thing going on every day, and I loved being in your class. Learning a new language was frightening, but you made everyone feel comfortable and actually enjoy it. I could talk to you about any issues that were going on and I know you would do your best to help me. During sophomore year, I remember walking to spanish two, wishing I was walking to your class. You are one of the very few teachers who impacted my life so positively and I just want to say thank you for making my first year of high school amazing.
