Happy Teachers Appreciation Week! I hope you’ve been well! Are you still teaching Math 1? I don’t know if you remember me from freshman year, but I was in your sixth period class. I’m a senior now! Therefore, with graduation coming around the corner, I just wanted to share my appreciation for you and why not during the week for teachers! Thank you for your kindness and noticing my potential in succeeding in your class. I remember you always mentioning if you saw us working hard, then we deserve a good grade. I think that is very motivating for students because even though we are struggling on something, you constantly reminded us that hard work will shine through. I know teaching has been difficult during these times, but I hope your optimism pushes your students to not give up!
