Dear Mrs. Nguyen, I hope this finds you well & I hope you are doing well in the midst of all that’s going on in this world. I’m not sure if you remember me, but I was a Biology student of yours when I was a freshman during the 2017-2018 school year. I just wanted to take this time to speak about my appreciation for you and the impact you have made in my life. Attending your class every day during my Freshman year was honestly my favorite time of the day. Your cheerful and happy attitude was always so contagious, and that joyful aura of yours always spread out through the classroom. I’ve always liked science classes in middle school, but in my Freshman year, you made me realize how much I loved it. Your teaching style and care towards your students makes learning Biology so much more interesting and fun. I loved doing labs in your class and taking notes. To me, you didn’t just treat us like regular students, but also like your friends. I enjoyed it so much when you would talk about your life and share with us small details about you towards the end of class. Most importantly, you’re the teacher who made me realize I wanted to pursue a career in the Biology/Nursing field. You really kickstarted my passion for Nursing and made me want to learn more about Science, even outside of Biology. Thank you for always being such a light in this world, for being so kind and encouraging to all your students, for wanting them to always succeed. "Teachers affect eternity; no one can tell where their influence stops." Thank you for impacting my life in such a positive way, & for that, I will forever be grateful for you. Sincerely, Diane Genetiano (Senior)
