Dear Queen Banack of Banackland, I have discovered that it is teacher appreciation week and I would like to tell you that I very much appreciate you. Although I only see you for on average 3 hours a week, I can confidently and proudly say that you are one of the teachers that I will forever brag about. For example, if I got into a conversation where we talk about teachers that inspired me, I’d bring you up because every time I zoom into your class (please take a moment to appreciate my amazing pun) you amaze me with your massive big-brained facts, your random yet interesting trivia, and, to top it all off, your massive heart. Your ability to drop nuggets of knowledge in smooth-brained high-school kid language and your capability to be so understanding and respectful of each of our struggles should be honored. If you ask any student what they want from adults, they would probably say that they want to be acknowledged, and you go above and beyond to make everyone feel seen and heard. So just in case, anyone hasn’t returned the favor recently, I see you, I hear you, and I will be forever indebted to you for being a ray of sunshine in my life Mrs. Banack. Even though you may not think this (although I doubt it because you should recognize your greatness every day), I think that I’m speaking for a lot of other people when I say that you motivate me to do better in every aspect of my life. I’m really grateful to the high school scheduling gods for giving me AP Lit even though I asked for AP Gov/Econ (lol) and for sticking me in your class because meeting you was honestly worth the three hundred hours of extra homework. HAHA, Thank you, an icon, you’re a bomb a** human being. I hope you have a great rest of your week. Crystal B. Le :) P.S. If I made any grammatical errors….please don’t roast me too hard, LOL.
