When I was an 8th grader, writing essays were my biggest fears, and I would think it was my fault because maybe I didn’t pay enough attention when they would explain how to write them, but after being able to write essays in your class, I realized that I just needed a great teacher who knows how to explain things to teach me. Not only have you helped me with writing essays and so much more things in English, but you have helped me open my eyes and to look at the world from different perspectives. In your class, it doesn’t feel like a bunch of kids and one adult, it feels like a community and a whole. I love the fact that we are all equals in your class and that you actually take the time to understand us instead of judging us or not taking our feelings into consideration. You have such an amazing heart and great potential that even through this pandemic, you have found a way to connect with your students, which not a lot of teachers can say. Thank you for always being an uplifting, loving, understanding, encouraging, happy, and overall amazing soul!
