Aliyah Manansala appreciates Mrs. Brunsdon, a teacher at INDEPENDENCE HIGH SCHOOL in San Jose, CA

Hi Ms. B! I just wanted to thank you for teaching your classes during distance learning, making Zoom classes more interactive, and being a teacher that I can talk to comfortably. I really appreciated when you checked up on me, congratulated me, or simply asked how I have been doing. Zoom has been making me really tired and uninterested in school, which leads me to have no motivation, and I know a lot of other people, including teachers, feel the same way. I can barely develop ideas for my clubs sometimes, so it is inspiring to see teachers come up with plans for every class. I wish that I was able to attend your class in person because I heard from your past students that you made the class fun and interesting, which is why I decided to choose forensics as an elective. Although forensics is a bit harder for me to grasp than I thought it would be, I still like your class because of your personality and how interactive it is. I appreciate how you do activities at the beginning of class and play videos for us. Even though this has been a hard year, I know that I learned a lot of new things and found a lot of things interesting! I liked learning about the JonBenet Ramsey case, and the different Forensic Units work together. I like learning, so at the end of the day, I’m glad that I got to at least learn a lot of new things this year. Thank you again for all that you do as a teacher, I really appreciate it, and I’m sure other students do as well!
